This population is made up of youthatrisk, homeless, and low income people living below the poverty line. The mission of EGYHOP is to provide emergency intervention services, friendly and familiar face to talk with, and needed and requested items which can include, but are not limited to socks, blankets and sleeping bags, etc. The first of which is the Olympia proper chapter, the second is the student group at The Evergreen State College. We welcome articles by teens and adults, which challenge standardized schooling as status quo, while promoting selfdirected and communitybased learning.
