An indoor grow light system is the key to success with growing plants indoors. When you choose the right light system you can have assurance that your plants are receiving the right amount of light all year round. Before investing in a lighting system there are important questions to ask that will guarantee that you’re getting the best return on your investment.

  • Remember that plants need darkness too just like humans so it’s important to always give your plants at least eight hours of darkness per day.
  • What is the yield that you can expect from this system?
  • Will the light system have reflectors?
  • Does the light system have a built in ballast?

How to Use Your Light System the Right Way

  • Always remember to hang your light system near an outlet just to insure that you won’t have to run multiple wires across the room and create a fire hazard.

  • Never place your plants right up to the grow lights bulb because you can easily fry them with too much heat.

Proper Care of Plants
